Dream

Hello!  Hope you all enjoyed your Holiday festivities!  We did.....and the weather has been so lovely!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at Papertrey Ink, Layered Stamping On Kraft and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

This was a FUN technique and I found the more 'off' I stamped the prettier I thought the outcome, well you'll see!

Check out Dawn's video HERE!

I used the Daydreamer stamp set from Papertrey Ink.  I stamped my images in white ink and then offset with the different colors.  Some are more 'exaggerated' than others and I love the look!  Inks in; Frost White, More Mustard, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red and Wisteria Wonder.

I used the Dotted Scallop Border dies from MFT, reversing them and layering (dots are not showing).  3 Enamel Dots to compliment the stamped white dots.  Using a White Sakura Glaze Pen I added white dots to the flowers.

Just a fun technique to try!

Thanks so much for dropping by.

Enjoy~~

  4. Having these two posts next to each other really shows your talent, my friend, Having something so elegant right nest to whimsy and fun shows you know how to do it all. the white behind everything makes the design pop. I must get white ink. I must pop over and tell Gerry that the Everly Brothers Dream, Dream, Dream is a classic and everybody knows it. Right?

  5. You have really nailed the challenge here, my friend. I LOVE how you have used that set - once again. Great color choices, and that border just sets everything off. And I think one of the things I like most about this card are those whimsical dots. So stinkin' cute!!!
