This card will be entered into the Challenges at Papertrey Ink, Cover Plate Water Coloring, Stamping Sensations, Festive Flowers And Foliage and Penny Black, Anything Christmas.
I used the Papertrey Ink Cover Plate, Chevrons to create my water color background. I guess I didn't use too much water as my chevrons are pretty neat, but I like that look. I then splattered white craft paint all over it to mimic snow and jazz it up a bit. The tree was cut from chipboard and then Designer Paper using Polka Dot Parade #9, the sentiment is from the coordinating stamp set.
Cut a banner from white card stock and stamped my sentiment in green and pink inks. I do love the non-traditional, soft colors for a Christmas card. Topped my tree with iridescent sequins. Sparkle!
So glad you came by, appreciate it when you do.
Enjoy~~
You got one done, I should never doubt you. Love the non traditional Christmas colors and your plaid tree. Great way to fit a sentiment on the banner. Love that.
