Birthday Wishes

Good Morning!
Back again to share a Birthday card with you today!  I find you can never have enough of these style cards on hand.....everybody has a birthday.....and most I know, actually get a card on time!  lol

Here I stamped my floral image 3 times, changing the direction each time, then I colored them with Copic Markers.  Using Tutti Designs Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles I die cut the floral panel out.

Can we just talk about this Tutti Designs Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles die set for a minute?  This is one of those must have sets for sure. It is a basic design, yet I find myself grabbing it all of the time.  Whether you are a newbie or have been paper crafting for decades I think you will agree that sets like these really come in handy and are certainly worth the money.

I think a few other must haves from the Dies R Us Store are these:

Just to name a few.  But each of these die sets will add to your paper crafting needs.  Basic.
Solid.
Perfect.
Check them out!

I created Gold layering backgrounds by swiping a Versa Mark Ink pad on to White card stock, just around the edges, each layer just a tad larger, then I sprinkled with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set it.  This way you don't waste a lot of your Powders, just enough to cover the outlines.  I also stamped the large Wishes with Gold Embossing Powder.  The Birthday die cut is by Cheery Lynn Designs Birthday, which is also covered with Gold Embossing Powder and heat set.  This is a great die set as you get 2 different sizes of Birthday dies.

My Adhesive Pearls were also 'colored' using the Gold Embossing Powder.  You can match any card you make 'coloring' your accents with Embossing Powders and heat setting the.  Works like a charm!  My floral panel has a sheet of Fun Foam backing for that dimension I so love.
Fun Foam is easy to us and very economical.

Stamps by Gina K Designs; Stamp It Big and Stately Flowers 12.

Gold Sakura Pen for flower centers.

Basket Of Hydrangeas

Good Morning, back again on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog.

Today's card features a cluster of pretty Hydrangea Petals.  Here on Cape Cod Hydrangeas are the all time favorite flower.  They are stunning in shades of blues, pinks and purples!

I started with a Tutti Designs Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles  cut from White card stock.  This made for the perfect spot to place my fussy cut and stamped basket, brimming with all of those gorgeous Hydrangea Petals.  The Hydrangea Petals are from the Impression Obsession Dies Hydrangea Set.  This set has everything you need to create beautiful Hydrangeas, Flower, Petals, Leaves and Stem.  Here I have only used the Flower backing and Petals.  Many Petals cut from Teal and Green card stock.  Each Petal also has been accented with a seed bead.  I also added a bit of Fun Foam to the back of my basket to add a bit of dimension.

I added a few of the Cheery Lynn Designs Wheat-Heads  These always add such interest to any floral bouquet or window box.  Changing the card stock color can give you so many different looks.  Here I wanted to think about the upcoming Fall Season so I die cut from Kraft and Olive.  I also added the pretty Cheery Lynn Designs Ivy Corner Flourish  This was cut from a soft Green card stock and then cropped.  I wanted a vine like effect.

Inside I stamped a simple Hydrangea in Raven Black ink.
