Double D, Punch

Good Morning!

Darlene and Diane from the Double D Challenge Blog are celebrating their 4th Anniversary!  Can you believe that?  They are a dynamic Duo and are great to 'work for'.  Don't forget to wish them congratulations when playing along!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog

Here is your Inspiration Tile:

Here is what I created:

I created a lemon lime border by using an old 2" scallop circle punch.  I then cut them in half and sponged with corresponding ink.  Layered in a piece of Vellum on top.  Then I found a small lemon/lime slice stamp from Simon Says, Adult Beverages set. Using Versa Mark and White Embossing Powder I heat set an image on each 'slice'.  Inks in Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi and Amalgam Black.

Sentiment is from Gina K Designs, Sweet Strawberries.
I also used an old corner punch to round each corner of Designer Paper and card stock.  Cherries colored with Copic Markers and then I added Glossy Accents to them.  Buttons and Baker's Twine to mimic the cherries as accents.

We had a wonderful Christmas Holiday, even though we were all sick.  I am still fighting a powerful head cold and a horrendous cough.....blaaaaah.

May 2020 be healthier than 2019 for us all!

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!

You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!
