Layered Butterflies

Back Again!

This next card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Simon Says Monday, Spritz and Splatter.
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes.
Dies R Us. Anything Goes.

I was inspired by  Macarena's Card.

Background created with an Altenew Stencil,
Half Tone and Daffodil Delight ink, I placed it at a wonky angle.
Sentiment by Gina K Designs, Birthday Blessings.
White Embossing Powder.
Spellbinders Perfectly Pierced Classic Frame,
layered and topped in Gold Foil Paper,
I also cut out the center using their Classic Oval die.

Memory Box Butterfly Exhibit, cropped.
Dies R Us Butterfly Set #2, layered.
Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish.
Butterflies were cut in White card stock and
then swiped with Distress Oxide ink in Fired Brick.
Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold and White,
spritzed and splattered over the Flourish and Butterflies.
Copper Brad.

Layered Dimension.

Inside.

Speaking of butterflies, I actually raised 2 Monarchs this year from eggs.
It was so fun and rewarding.
I am planting an entire Milkweed Garden next Spring
to help improve the numbers of the Monarchs.

They are sooooooo beautiful!

Thanks for flitting by!

Enjoy~~

Sunflower Birthday Wishes

***  This is still happening, my email notifications are not being received nor are most of yours to me.....I have no idea how to fix this issue.  Thankfully I have made a Blog List right here on my Blog so I can easily follow all of your Posts ***

Check this link out, Blogger  they say it has been fixed,  au contraire!

On with the show!

Back again on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog
to share a Birthday card with you today!

A little creation with Black and White with a POP of Yellow!

I love the Fall and I love Sunflowers, the perfect time of year to pull out these beautiful dies!  I started with the Penny Black, Border Edges.  Here I have cut it from White card stock.  Then using an old toothbrush and some craft paints in Black and Yellow I covered it with splatters, such an easy technique.  Taking Black Striped Designer Paper, I adhered it to the die cut piece, placing it all on my White card base.

I die cut this gorgeous Cheery Lynn, Sunflower from 2 different shades of Yellow card stock.  I layered them together using a Foam Dot for dimension.  I added a Cheery Lynn Designs Fanciful Flourish die cut in Black, beneath it.

My sentiment is by Gina K Designs, Birthday Blessings.  This was stamped in Raven Black ink.  Inside leaf stamped in Crushed Curry ink.  Nuvo Drops in Ebony as accents.

The centers of the die cut Sunflowers are the only portioned glued down, this way my petals can be lifted and moved to show a bit more dimension.

This card will be entered into the Challenge at;

Simon Says Wednesday, Pop It Up
