Spiderman

 Good Morning!

May I just say, thank goodness for Pinterest lol

Penny turns 5 next month, yikes!
And even though she loves to dress up and 'play makeup'
she wants a Spiderman Birthday Party.
She is a Modern Woman for sure!

So after scouring Pinterest I found this creative gal,
from Diary Of Two Crafty Girls and her wonderful
Spiderman Card idea, complete with instructions!
She is a GENIUS!!!

And this Blog Post is dated 2011, so she has
been a frickin' genius for a very long time lol

Here's my card which will be entered into the following Challenges:

Dies R Us, Anything Goes--their last challenge :(
Can You Handle The Pressure, Anything Goes (Fall Twist Optional).

Spellbinders Classic Ovals.
Impression Obsession City Landscape dies, layered.
Avery Elle Numbered Balloons die.
Spider Web die. (Halloween set off of FB Marketplace, Sizzix?)
Gina K Designs sentiment, Birthday Blessings.

Sponged Tuxedo Black ink all over the Oval die cuts.
Lattice Embossing Folder on red Oval die cuts.
Baker's Twine.
Lots of Foam Dots.
DCWV Designer Paper, Midnight Spell....ancient!

Hand cut eyes.....meh....but they do capture his personality!

So much dimension!

As she does turn 5, we've decided to give her 5 gifts,
I mean it is a WHOLE HAND BIRTHDAY!
One of them is a silly little Spider Man Web Shooter.
Shoots silly string or water.
I feel like I want to get Gramps one too so they can have battles lol

Thanks for swinging by!

ENJOY~~

Double D, Silhouettes

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Here is your Inspiration Tile:

Use a silhouette as the focus of your project.

Here is my card:

I used Distressed Oxide inks to create my background;
Faded Jeans, Fired Brick and Wilted Violet.
I also added Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold and water drops to it.
Sentiment by Gina K Designs, All About You, stamped in Versa Mark and heat embossed using Black Embossing Powder.

My skyline was created by using the
Impression Obsession City Landscape dies.
I layered and added dimension using Fun Foam.
Dies were cut from Black Glitter Paper.

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!

You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!

Here's the prize for this Challenge:

Thanks for popping in.

Enjoy~~
