Happy Birthday, Sweet Friend

 Good Morning!  

This card will be entered into the Challenges at:

My Friend, Marion just bought some pretty new placemats and I thought, 

WOW that would make a pretty card.....so I tried to copy them.  

Here's what I came up with.

I used the Floral Notes stamp and stencil set by Pinkfresh Studio.

Distress Oxide inks.

Tuxedo Black ink.

White Gel Pen.

And Just like Bruno, we won't talk about that wonky Happy Birthday.

Fall Birthday

Good Afternoon!

Today's card will be entered into the following Challenges; Stamp TV, Photo Inspiration, Kat Scrappiness, World Card Making Day, and Scor Pal, More Than One Score, Seasonal Delights Or Spooky Frights.

 

 

This was such a fun and easy card to make, a Center Step Card and it folds flat easily fitting into a regular A-2 envie.   I used several stamp sets from Gina K Designs; Birthday Duo, Buds And Vases and Falling For You.  I have been pulling out some of my older sets from GKD and falling in love all over again!  Check out your stash!

 

 

 

Using a piece of card stock measuring 11 x 4 1/4" I scored my lines at the 1", 2", 5.5" and 6.5" marks.  Then I cut a line from the 1" mark to the 6.5" mark with an 1" margin.  Now if that was too confusing, just check out Frenchie's Video HERE!  

 

 

All images colored with Copic Markers.  The jar was fussy cut out.  Sheer Ribbon, Sequins, Diamond and Lime Green Stickles, Vellum, Clear Embossing Powder, Wild Wasabi ink.  There are also 2 Enamel Dots, on the lip right above my line of pumpkins, but of course the photos don't show them.

 

The colors, roses and pumpkins were my inspiration.

Gate Fold Shell Card

Hello again!

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Birthday Duo and By The Sea 2.  Base card stock measures 4.25" x 8.5", scored at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8"....and when using a Scor Pal they have so kindly made a raise dot at these two marks, to make creating a Gate Fold card that much easier....thanks Scor Pal!!!  The larger focal circle tucks in right behind the smaller circle, which is raised by using Pop Dots.

Added two Bracket Edge border dies, to create some interest, Birthday sentiment and a little beach grass too.

Shell colored with Copic Markers. Some sheer ribbon tied on.  MFT Blueprints #12 die and Spellbinders Scallop Circle die.

 

Spellbinders Classic and Scallop Circle dies and 3 Adhesive Rhinestones colored with Copic Markers.

 



 

Not too much going on with this card, but to be perfectly honest with you, I LOVE IT!!!

Masculine Happy Birthday

Hello Again!  I was lucky enough to make a bunch of cards lately, so relaxing, so therapeutic, I just love it!!! Know what I mean???  Bet you do!

Today's card was made for the Poppy Sketch #6 Challenge, with a pop of pattern, Harlequin.

 

And here is my card:

 

 

The sentiment is from Gina K Designs, Birthday Duo.  A little texture, a little Harlequin, a little button and twine, and some little banners.  Ta Da!

 

This card came together in no time at all, but it was still soothing to be in the craft room, which is an utter mess.  Blah.  I will clean it tomorrow and perhaps tomorrow night I will create a little something-something too!
