the beverage card was a great idea, I love the background you used with them and great fussy cutting.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty flower on the second card, like how you framed it!
Two great cards here Donna! Great fussy cutting on the first card and I like the scored lines to give you a spot for the sentiment. The floral card is layered to perfection and dreamy as always!
ReplyDeleteThese are both just fabulous. I know Tim will love that cute and whimsical card with all the "beverages". It's a perfect man-card. The background on the second is just wonderful. Love your shading on that one!!
ReplyDeleteYour s-i-l will love his "beverage" card. Love the second card the colors are so dramatic.
ReplyDeleteNice! I did have to read to 'see' the background! Lol! Thanks for playing in our challenge!
ReplyDeleteDonna, waving a big hello from Florida! LOVING both of your creations. I have several stamps similar to the sentiment image you stamped at the bottom of the floral interior. WHAT A GREAT IDEA! I am definitely casing that design tip from you, because it's a perfect way of using these oldies-but-goodies! Thank you for showcasing that idea. The rich browns in your flower, and that lovely frame are beautiful! Tim will be delighted with that great card! I especially like that designer paper with the swirling hearts - almost like "the aroma of family love" in the air - and that is just what your family always exudes in your photos. Hoping Tim enjoys many more happy birthdays! huggers, de
ReplyDeleteA handsome card for a handsome SIL. A fun one too, and I am sure that he will love it. We always need HUG cards to send out and I appreciate that it could be for sympathy or encouragement.
