D Monogram

 Back again!

Still a beautiful afternoon!

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Altenew, Monogram.
Simon Says Wednesday, Favorite Technique--Coloring!!!

One of my most favorite people in the whole wide world
has a birthday coming up, she is also a Donna.
I have known her since Jr. High--yes that's how old we are...
it wasn't called Middle School back in the olden days lol
She finally becomes the same age as me.
YAY!  I look forward to this event every year!  :)

I used the Altenew stamp and die set, Beautiful Day.
Alphabet die, layered 4 times and embossed with Swiss Dots.
Background is embossed with a Flint embossing Folder.

Amalgam Black ink.
Copic Markers.
Sakura Glitter Pen.
Corner Tab Punch.

A little bit of dimension, which is also a favorite technique of mine.

Thanks for coming by!

Enjoy~~

  1. Oh my goodness, Donna is going to love this. It's so sweet and pretty, and I love that you embossed the D with the Swiss Dot. Really makes that monogram pop. Nice color choices too. Simply adorbs.

  4. Such a pretty bed of roses for the monogram to fit inside, it is the same with me and my girlfriend, I am the oldest except for 3 months when we are the same age :) We grew up together as babies and still are friends.
Love the touch all the embossing gives to it too, and the extra dimension with the added flowers!
