Double D, Wishes Are Possible!

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Here is your Inspiration Tile for this Challenge:

Here Is My Card:

Looks like my DT Gal Pal Barbara and I had similar ideas!  ;)

I used the Great Impressions stamp, Queen Ann Lace, which was heat embossed using White embossing powder.  I stamped the image 3 times, moving it in different directions each time, this gives a mystique of movement.  I love the look of White Heat Embossing on Kraft card stock.  I made my frame using Tutti Designs, Cross Stitch Nesting Rectangles.

I also die cut 2 Elizabeth Craft Designs, Dandelion Fluff, which look a lot like the Queen Ann Lace from here.  These were cut from a glittery white card stock.  Beneath my frame I used the MFT, Fanciful Flourish die cuts, cropped.  Sentiment by Gina K Designs, Fairy Tales, White Heat Embossed on to a little Vellum strip.  Natural Twine, Adhesive Rhinestones and itty bitty iridescent star confetti for accents.

May all of your wishes come true!

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!
You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!

  7. Absolutely beautiful Donna! Sorry for the late comment ... crazy busy here between doctor appointments and filling crafting orders ... BUT I'm here now and so glad I am! It appears a few of us used the same products for our creations and what fun to see them being used in the same/yet different way. LOVE the white on the kraft (I rarely use kraft ... just never think to use it) and I love how you've brought focus to your card elements! GREAT JOB my friend ... such wonderful inspiration! YOU GO GIRL!!! HUGS

  11. This is absolutely gorgeous. I have not seen the Queen Ann's Lace stamp before. A dandelion, but not Queen Ann's Lace. I love it, and I love your colors and the way you have white embossed the flowers. Really makes them pop. And then that die cut is just the perfect final touch. So, so pretty!
