Penny's First Birthday

Good Morning!

Just got back from spending some special time with my special girl, Penny.
She turns ONE in 18 days!  Every week she learns something new, it is so magical.
I am blessed!

Sharing my love of flowers with my love!

I finally finished her Eclipse Card.  I made one a couple of weeks ago, but I had to use some of that 'purple tape' to hold down my dies, after lifting it, it left a sticky residue that I could not remove, so I made a 2nd one, just like the first.

I used the Simon Says Wildly Cuddily Critters stamp set, colored with Copic Markers.  I lined up Alphabet dies, which I no longer have the packaging for, so I am not sure of the brand, but they measure almost 2" tall.  They make for nice big, bold letters.

I layered 3 stacks of each letter so it would really POP off the card, 2 white and 1 pink, then the stamped critter layer.  I also added Wink Of Stella to different parts of each critter.

Inside I used the Die Versions, Letters Little Lime dies.
I also used the Gina K Designs stamp sets; Birthday Duo and Simple Numbers.
Raven Black and Melon Mambo inks.
Plaid Paper by Simon Says.
Pink and White Gingham Ribbon.

FUN to make, as always!

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Favorite Technique (coloring with Copic Markers & Eclipse)
Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes
Penny Black, Feminine
Scrapy Land, Anything Goes

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~

  9. Lil Penny is so very cute, they grow up way to fast don't they. I love the card you did for her, that is a bummer about the tape messing up the first one, but your second turned out just adorable and the letter size is just perfect for your card, very cute inside too!
