Good Morning!
Just got back from spending some special time with my special girl, Penny.
She turns ONE in 18 days! Every week she learns something new, it is so magical.
I am blessed!
Sharing my love of flowers with my love!
I finally finished her Eclipse Card. I made one a couple of weeks ago, but I had to use some of that 'purple tape' to hold down my dies, after lifting it, it left a sticky residue that I could not remove, so I made a 2nd one, just like the first.
I used the Simon Says Wildly Cuddily Critters stamp set, colored with Copic Markers. I lined up Alphabet dies, which I no longer have the packaging for, so I am not sure of the brand, but they measure almost 2" tall. They make for nice big, bold letters.
I layered 3 stacks of each letter so it would really POP off the card, 2 white and 1 pink, then the stamped critter layer. I also added Wink Of Stella to different parts of each critter.
Inside I used the Die Versions, Letters Little Lime dies.
I also used the Gina K Designs stamp sets; Birthday Duo and Simple Numbers.
Raven Black and Melon Mambo inks.
Plaid Paper by Simon Says.
Pink and White Gingham Ribbon.
FUN to make, as always!
This card will be entered into the following Challenges:
Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Favorite Technique (coloring with Copic Markers & Eclipse)

Thanks for popping in!
Enjoy~~
This card is outstanding. Love the animals on the front and so will Penny. Lori will save this in her scrapbook for ages to come and she will always remember her special relationship with he Nana. The love that you put into this shows, my friend.
ReplyDeleteOMG - I hae been wanting to try this technique but don't have the big letter dies. This is so stinkin' cute, I can't believe those sweet little critters. You colored them perfectly, they just make me smile. What a keepsake this is!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a really pretty card for Penny, she looks like a little charmer, many thanks for joining in with our 'Make it Feminine' theme at Penny Black and More challenge.

Super cute card! Those animals are adorable, and I love the popped up "Penny"...pretty colors too! She sure is growing up quickly.
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous card for a gorgeous girl! As you know I love making eclipse cards too, they’re so personal! Loving the animal stamp, good to see the giraffe snuck into the line ;-) xx
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe that a year has passed already since this little treasure was born. She's totally adorable and so is this card!! I love the lineup of cute little animals with her name hidden in amongst them. Super, super cute idea Donna!!
ReplyDeleteAWWW!! Especially cute card for an especially cute girl. Those little critters are adorable....double adorable on her name. Happy 1st Birthday Penny.
ReplyDeleteAdorable card, but nothing as adorable as 'little Miss Penny', she is so CUTE and sweet...I love seeing her pictures, but where has the time gone, a year already WOW,so hard to believe...I am so glad she lives close enough you get to see her grow and give her all those grammy hugs and kisses!!
ReplyDeleteLil Penny is so very cute, they grow up way to fast don't they. I love the card you did for her, that is a bummer about the tape messing up the first one, but your second turned out just adorable and the letter size is just perfect for your card, very cute inside too!
ReplyDeleteThis is so, so amazing, Donna!! I have never tried this technique, but am totally intrigued after seeing Penny's card. You did a fabulous job. The plaid background is fun and looks great with those animal images. Just spectacular, my friend! And, a very Happy Birthday to Miss Penny!!
