Double D, Feeling Fallish

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Check out this Inspirational Tile!

I just love these Fall images!!!

I used the Gina K Designs, Sentimental Summer Kit for my beautiful Dahlia.  This Kit is full of so many stamps and matching dies.  Although the title has the word summer I love my Dahlias come Fall!  My jar is by PTI, Jar & Lid and Just The Jar--Quart, stamps and dies.

I created my background using the PTI products; Hexagon Cover die and a few dies from the Shakers And Sprinkles Kit--these come in sooooo handy--like ALL THE TIME!!!  The frame was cut from Kraft card stock and the Hexagon Cover die was cut from Silver Foiled Paper for that chicken wire look.  My tag was cut using a Stampin' Up! Tags And Labels die.  Sentiment stamped in Tempting Turquoise ink.  Eyelet, Natural Twine and Sheer Ribbon.

I used the rocking motion technique, or is it Rock N' Roll???  Stamping my Dahlias in Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral, Tangerine Tango and Real Red and Riding Hood Red and Cajun Craze.  Stems and leaves in Always Artichoke and Wild Wasabi.  I also Heat Embossed them all with Clear Powder.  They have quite a bit of sheen in real life.

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!  You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!

Enjoy~~

  6. LOVE the look you got with that Rock and Roll technique. Your flowers are absolutely beautiful. I have that set and I'm going to pin for future reference. The "chicken wire" in the background is amazing, perfect for the Mood Board. Awesome card, my dear. I really, really like this!
