The Gift Of Peace

Good afternoon!  It is so glorious out, I went for a beach walk and it was HOT!

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

Stamp TV, You're TREEmendous
Simon Says Monday, Shine Bright Like A Diamond
Stamping Sensations, Christmas Greetings
Penny Black, Anything Christmas
Scrapy Land, Anything Goes

I used the Tree Silhouettes stamp set from Gina K Designs and the Wishing You Joy set.  Trees stamped in Black Licorice ink.  Sentiment stamped using Versa Mark ink on to a Vellum strip and heat embossed in Black Embossing Powder.

Die-Namics, Cross Stitched Rectangles dies by MFT.  Lots of sparkly glittery Tinsel Glitter by Recollections as my snowy slope.  Glittery Ribbon Tab and Enamel Dots for accent.

Each year I make ONE Black and White Christmas card.  Done.  :)

Thanks for coming by!

Enjoy~~

  4. Why thank you for the gift of peace, Donna! Your friendship offers just that, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Guess I should say something about this amazing card, too, and not just the amazing artist who created it! GORGEOUS setting - your tinsel resembles a heavy snowfall, or even a hill in the background - LOVELY card, Donna! I always forget to use my vellum on sentiments, and it brings such a gentleness to the artwork! have a great day, my friend! hugs, de

  5. What a pretty card Donna, with such a great message! Yesterday was a perfect day for a walk here too, although had I taken pictures, they would have been in woods as my daughter and I went on a three mile hike. Beautiful!!

  8. I got this stamp as a hand me down from a friend and I have not used it as yet. I love how you have simple done this card. Letting the trees and snow take front stage. The vellum banner and the tailored and stitched panels make it very classy.
