Thankful & Sunflowers

Hello!  What a glorious day here.  This is the best time of year!  Love it!

This card will be entered into the Challenge at Papertrey Ink, Using Florals On A Masculine Project.

I used the Papertrey Ink products; Simple Sunflower stamp and dies sets and the thankful from the Counting My Blessings die set.  Inks in Always Artichoke, More Mustard and Timber Brown.  I ran the Kraft card stock through my handy dandy corrugator, lends texture and a more masculine feel.

Thick Jute Twine and Adhesive Rhinestones for accents.  It's manly!

Thanks so much for popping by!  Trying to get back in the swing of things with work and crafting!

Enjoy~~

  3. Donna, I love how you combine several elements to create happiness on your creations. The pop of white behind the sunflowers and leaves is perfect for the textured background, thick jute, and VERY HAPPY dancing "thankful". It's a great masculine card, but who would not love receiving it? Pure delight! hugs, de

  4. What a perfect card for the challenge. I love the corrugated background with the sunflowers, they go so well together. I think kraft is wonderful for corrugating and I would never think to use it. And the heavy jute is perfect too.

  6. This was a tricky challenge, but you pulled this off with this card. Using the texture of the corrugated paper and the sunflowers was exactly what was needed. Add some jute string and you got it.
