Jar o' Butterflies

Good afternoon!

A fun little card to share with you today!

I used the Papertrey Ink stamp and die sets; Flower Favorites, Just The Jar--Quart and Jar And Lid.  I die cut the butterflies out of white card stock and then colored 4 of them with different colored Copic Markers, then stamping them with details in corresponding colors.  Finally adding coordinating Baker's Twine to each one.  I also added an Ombre Blue Baker's Twine to the top of my jar and hi-lighted it with a Copic Marker.

Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 for my layering background.  The Fanciful Flourish by Cheery Lynn was cut twice, in black and white card stock.  I layered the 2 so it would POP a bit!  My lovely black and white gingham ribbon to tie it all together.  And a bit of Wink Of Stella Clear Pen has been added to each butterfly.
This card will be entered into the following Challenges;
Papertrey Ink String Art Using Die Cuts
Double D, Simply Gingham

Thanks so much for fluttering by!

  3. ok I just had to stop back ... I clicked for a closer look ... how creative to use the bakers twine for the body of your butterflies (I'll be using that idea! LOL). AWESOME ...

  4. Just gorgeous! Loving the butterflies in the jar so clever and the twine is a great idea too for the bodies of the butterflies and the top of the jar! Also love those gorgeous dies you used!

  5. Pretty dies on this card. I need to use mine more often. Love the black and white and your fun jar of butterflies.

  6. Everyone should have a jar of beautiful butterflies like these with the clever bodies. They still steal the show, even with the multiple dies on the background. I don't know how you manage to put all of this on a card and still make a gorgeous, stand out card. I would probably have a mess.

  7. Fabulous frame set. I love how you fill your jars. This is no exception. I love butterflies and how cute to use the matching twine. Adds so much texture and dimension. Always thinking of something new that's you.

  8. Love how the jar fits those frames and the vine coming out!

  9. This is incredible Donna! I love the butterflies in the jar and the twine around the neck! SUPER my friend!

  10. this gorgeous and creative card too...those butterflies are amazing with the twine centers! Thank you for joining us at Double D for our challenge!
