Lavender And Lace

Good Afternoon!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenges at Mod Squad, Lavender And Lace, hosted by one of my ever talented BFF's Judy Woodland and Stamp TV, Count Your Layers, hosted by another one of my ever talented BFF's Barbara Campbell.

I started with Lovely Lavender card stock of course and the All Occasion Tags, Dreams, and Lacy Borders stamp sets, all by Gina K Designs.  The tag die is by MFT, Traditional Stitched Tags.

I layered 2 tags together, the bottom one I used White Embossing Powder and a pretty lacy border stamp.  The top has an image and sentiment stamped using inks in Tuxedo Black  and Wisteria Wonder.  I also added a layered butterfly using the EK Success Trio Butterfly Punch, bottom layers in card stock, top in Vellum accented with 3 small Adhesive Rhinestones.  An eyelet and ribbon threaded through the tags.

Check out the fine detail on that lacy border stamp, it looks like real lace!

I have counted 10 layers on this card.

Thanks, as always, for stopping by.

Enjoy~~

  3. Such a gorgeous card. I LOVE your colors - and yes, that stunning border stamp looks just like real lace. I thought that's what it was until I read your post. And just look at all those lovely layers, all put together so beautifully!! Great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along this week with the Mod Squad. Now I have to go out and enjoy the bonfire with the boys.

  4. Like Sharon, I am amazed how you are able to do all that you do, and still create beautiful cards. So much detail on this one. I love tags as much as you do on cards. I thought the lace was real too. All of those layers put got you into the challenge at STV. Thanks for joining in.

  6. Boy Barb picked a perfect challenge for you. You are on a roll with the layers. What an inspiration you are I would never thought of using that stamp as part of a die. It is one of my favorite stamps, but I don't use it often. Thanks do much for the idea. Love the lavendar butterfly and ribbon and how you lace is peeking out behind the tag.
