Sending You Sunshine

Good Afternoon!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Papertrey Ink, Gradient Water Color Die Cuts and Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Sunshine.

I 'painted' some water color paper using my regular inks and water brush.  I don't have any water color markers so this works just as well for me.  Using the Papertrey Ink Cover Plate Die,  Hexagon, I die cut my water color paper  and created my background!  I added adhesive to all of the hexagons on the back side of the cut and then placed it all on the front of my A2 size card.  Then I removed the frame.  Easy Peasey!  I do love the look of this, it reminds me of texture paste.....without having to open the bottle.  I have used that stuff once since I bought it months ago.  Sigh.

Added a strip of Vellum and a sentiment from Simple Sunflowers and then the sweet little bee stamp and die sets from Flower Favorites, all from PTI.

So flat.....easy mailing.....gotta love that!

Thanks so much for buzzing by!

Enjoy~~

From Me To You

Good Morning!

This card will be entered into the Challenge at Papertrey Ink, Ink Blending Over Heat Embossing.

I used the Daydreamer and Swoosh stamp sets and the Hexagon Cover Plate die all from Papertrey Ink.  Using Versa Mark Ink I stamped my 'foliage' and covered it in White Embossing Powder, then I heated it.  Blending Tempting Turquoise over the embossed panel, leaving some white spaces too.    Love the look of them all scattered about and the ink really makes them POP!    I cut Blue Raspberry and Designer card stock out using the cover plate, which I trimmed down, only using a portion.  This still lets my embossed 'foliage' peek through.

Stamped my sentiment and added that panel and one lone enamel dot for accent.

FUN!

Thanks for popping in!

Enjoy~~

Happy Mail Thank You!

Good Morning!  A bit chilly here....-3 degrees, feels like -24.....yikes!  It's going to warm up to 13, so that will be great!

Today's card will be entered into the Challenge at Papertrey Ink, Saturday Happy Mail.  To make a thank you card for the PTI's Warehouse Crew AND mail it!  I always loooooooooove getting orders fro PTI, first because, it's new stamping supplies, secondly they wrap each order like a special little gift, almost makes it easier on the wallet--they know what they're doing!  lol

I made a little Shaker Happy Mail Thank You card.  I started with the Phrase Play #5 die as my shaker base, Hexagons Cover Plate die, Happy Hexagons, Simple Sunflowers and Swoosh stamp sets....all by Papertrey Ink.  I got a great deal on the Designer Paper at Michael's one day.  Original price 19.99 for a 12x12 pad on sale for 5.99....I got 2 different ones.  This is  Tea Party by Craft Smith.  Filled with beautiful colors and fabulous flowers AND some great metallic papers too, like this dotted one.  Once I found the paper I knew I had to drag my Minc out and add some Gold Foil accents, a match made in heaven! I Foiled the 'happy' and some hexagon die cuts, they really POP!

MFT Traditional Stitch Tag die, large Gold Sequins, Ribbon and Jute Twine for accents.  Corner Rounder and EK Success Tag Punch for small sentiments.

Whenever I make a Shaker card I ALWAYS use this technique Heather shares with us in this video, makes life super easy!  Shaker Card Video.

What a nice thing to do, have us all thank the PTI Warehouse Crew for all of their hard work!  I love Companies who know they can't do it all by themselves!  YAY to you all!

Thanks so much for popping by!

Hope you get some Happy Mail this week!  (Nancy I owe you one!)

Enjoy~~
