Double D, Let's Make Some Music

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Here is your Inspiration Tile:

Let's Make Some Music

Here is my card:
(by the way this was one of my most favorite cards to make!)

It has layers and texture and music oh my!

My eyes immediately went to the picture of the jars,
who doesn't loooooove a jar on a card!?!

I started with the PTI Just The Jar Quart stamp and die sets.  I die cut the jar from a small piece of acetate, that way I could back it with a piece of Yellow Glitter paper
to mimic the candlelight.
Spellbinder's; Hearts die.
MFT; Dotted Scallop Border die.
Memory Box; Homespun Heart die (cropped).
Amy Design; Musical Stave die.

PTI Designer Paper; Autumn Chicken Scratch
Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.
Washi Tape.
Doily.
Twine.
White Embossing Powder.
Gina K Designs stamp set; Love You More
Adhesive Pearls.
Hand cut sentiment flag banners.

Layers upon layers!
Swoon!

Thanks for waltzing by!

This card will be entered into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes!

Enjoy~~

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!
You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!

  3. Oh Donna, I love everything about this card! The jar, first of all.... I love that you made the jar into a candle just like the one in the photo. The yellow glitter paper behind the acetate is genius! I also love the three little banner layers for the sentiment and the little heart tag tied on with string. I love it all and I can see why it's one of your favorites. There's so much to love about this sweet card!!
