Thinking Of You

Back again!

I had to make a few Sympathy cards.
We all hate when we need these, but I find that the recipients
appreciate our thoughts, prayers and love.
I also find them very soothing to make.

This 1st card will be entered into the Challenge at
Simon Says Monday, Alcohol, Inks Or Drinks.

I used a wood mounted stamp by Stampede, Hydrangea.
Image colored with Copic Markers.
Sakura Glaze Pen on flower centers.
Gina K Designs, Scripty Sayings.
Black Embossing Powder.
Vellum Strip.

Flourishes, Hydrangea stamp.

This card will be entered into the Paper Smooches Challenge, Anything Goes!
And Scrapy Land, Anything Goes!

Sue Wilson, Rustic Twig Wreath.
Paper Smooches Foliage 1 & 3.
Memory Box, Layered Robin.

3 small panels backed with Fun Foam.
Gina K Designs stamp set, Vintage Rose.
Amalgam Black ink.

Gina K Designs stamp set, You Are Not Alone.

That dimension that I love.

Altenew stamp set, Beautiful Day.
Copic Markers.
WOS.

Gina K Designs stamp set, Sweet Friendship.
Amalgam Black ink.
Black Embossing Powder.
Vellum Strip.

I love the look of this wonky panel card.
Not sure I have ever made one before.
So I decided to make 2.  I didn't have a die so I hand cut them.

For both cards I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets;
Doodle Sayings, Stately Flowers 12 and Wreath Builder.

I am using this as a Sympathy card too.
I think it makes for a modern take.

Amalgam Black, Pink Posh, Creamsicle and Bermuda Bay inks.
Spellbinders, Labels 4 dies.
Double Stitched Ribbon.
Nicole Designer Paper Garden Party.

This card will be entered into the Simon Says Wednesday, Have A Heart.

Amalgam Black, Calypso Coral, Orange Slush, and Mint Green inks.

Spellbinders, Labels 4 dies.
Double Stitched Ribbon.

  1. Wow you have been so busy, I should have them ready to go but I always make them as I need them. I so love the tile look of the first, such lovely tile feel to it and pretty coloring. Love the elegant black and white with a pop of color! You made such a lovely background with soft pretty coloring and pretty last two cards using such fun combos of papers and great offset of your dies!

  2. Boy I am behind. You know that Judy got me doing the beading and I let everything else go. You have a card making machine, but you do it with finesse! I absolutely love the cardinal card. The ones with great use of the design papers. I have gobs of that to use up. The delicate coloring on the velum card is so sweet. You got me there.

  5. All of your cards are just perfect for sympathy cards! Is there anyone who actually enjoys making them? But they are certainly appreciated! I love the black and white combination with the pretty red bird! Thanks for sharing with us at Scrapy Land Challenges!
