Repeat After Me!

Happy Wednesday!

I'm hosting this week's Challenge over at the Mod Squad Blog!  Hope you're up for a new Challenge, this one will be easy AND fun!

Challenge

Repeat After Me!  You MUST use the same stamp at least 3 times on your creation.  Why 3 you ask.....because;
The 'rule of threes' says that things arranged in odd numbers are more appealing, memorable, and effective than even-numbered groupings.

This Weeks Sponsor is CAS-ual Fridays Stamps
http://cas-ualfridaysstamps.com/

All the stamps and Fri-Dies are designed by Michele , and are based on her love for Clean And Simple design, hence the CAS in CAS-ual. However, they will delight any stamper's style! Whether you are a CAS enthusiast or a lover of Utterly Adorable Layers, you will have a blast getting inky with them.

The stamps are made in the USA of the finest clear photopolymer, and the coordinating line of wafer thin dies are also made in the USA.

2 Prizes

2 - $15 Gift Certificate each to the STORE

My 1st Card

I used the pretty flowers from the Girlfriend stamp set as well as the Friendly Flowers die.  The wonderful sentiment, is just that Wonderful Words.  Inks in; Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Wild Wasabi.  Sentiment in Tuxedo Black and Melon Mambo inks.   Spellbinders Labels 4 dies.  Pink and white gingham ribbon and enamel dots for accents.  A bit of Wink Of Stella Clear Pen for shimmer.

My 2nd Card

More pretty little flowers from the Girlfriend stamp set.  I stamped lots of flowers, large and small in many inks; Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Tempting Turquoise and Wild Wasabi.  Once I was happy with my stamping I cut the panel in 3 equal parts.  Using pop dots I placed my panel on my card base.  BUT I first stamped my sentiments, front and inside, using Tuxedo Black ink.  Also one more little flower on the inside for accent.  Cutting out the Love Ya die in black card stock I adhered it to my center panel.

How's this for a FUN sentiment?  LOVE it!

I will also be entering these into the Challenge at Simon Says Monday, Summer Garden.

Here's what I used:

Girlfriend
Friendly Flowers

Wonderful Words
Love Ya

Head on over to the Mod Squad Blog and get in on all of the FUN!

See you there!

Enjoy~~

  4. Donna, Donna! I am always amazed at your ability to take a stamp and turn it into something remarkable! And it was so fun to see not one but TWO clever creations here! I'd say that you nailed the "three rule" and then some! Love how the first card has those pops of black and how the pattern extends to the inside of the card. And on the second card, that was so genius of you to split the gorgeous pattern into thirds and then bump them out a bit from the card base. I always walk away feeling inspired after perusing your blog and I'm so glad you shared these two pieces with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
