Oh Dear....Or Deer!

Good Afternoon!

I have to thank one of my gal pals, Kathy, for sending me so many die cuts a while ago!  I went digging through them again yesterday and found this sweet little deer family, how adorable!

THANK YOU, KATHY!!!!

My card will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, What's Your Name, (to use the first initial of your name) and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Masculine Tags and Blessed Is The Season, fabulous trees!  The Designer Paper is by DCWV, The Cinnamon Luster Stack, another $3.49 deal! I made a window in the card base using Spellbinders Classic Oval, then layering a Classic and Scallop Oval dies I made a frame.  A simple brown one for the outside and a printed one for the inside to cover up the cut.  I also added a bit of sparkly glitter snow to the trees and the ground.

It's a simple masculine birthday card, but I kind of love it!

Wasn't Kathy a dear?

Enjoy~~

  9. Love the pp behind the deer and the scene you created. The window really works with the design. Have gone through my stamp sets trying to find something with a K. Finally, thought of the kitten in Purrfectly Delightful. Don't know if I will have time to get a card together today. It's my birthday and people all over the US are holding parties for me, and there is a special sporting event planned and even televised, Boy people know how to make a girl feel special.

  12. I am gone for one day and I miss three of your cards. You are just cranking them out girl! Love the masculine look with the three deer. These cards are often hard for me. Kathy is a sweetie and it was the best gift that I got this Christmas. You card could be a shaker card too.
