By The Deep Blue Sea

Good afternoon, hope you're all enjoying this beautiful day!

Today's card is a nautical themed one with lots of texture, I used the sketch from My Favorite Things.

I have added lots of texture to this, the Swirls Embossing Folder, a little bit of cork cut out using a Spellbinder's Scalloped Circle die (the cork has an adhesive backing) and a small scrap of burlap.  The stamp set is By The Sea 2, from Gina K Designs

This card will be entered into the following Challenges:

MFT Sketch Challenge

Mod Squad, Love That Texture!

Stamp TV, It's Nautical What You Think

Thanks so much for popping in, you know how I enjoy your company!  ;)

Enjoy~~

  3. Great take on all those challenges. Love all the texture here. It still amazes me how you can put a bunch of stuff on a card and it all comes together. You are the ultimate designer my dear. And the burlap is just the great final touch!!!

  9. You do such great nautical cards that you have motivated me, to at lease, buy a stamp set that has a sail boat in it. Then we will have to see where I go from there. Lol
