So Thankful

What a fabulous time of year.  Seasons changing, temperatures are cooling down, sometimes downright chilly, the hustle and bustle of the holidays fast approaching.  I kind of love it all!    And the best part you will probably be spending more time with loved ones, and for that I am truly grateful!

Today's card is for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, Thanks/Thanksgiving.

I just grabbed every color card stock I love, black, teal, green, white....it's all here.....and I think it all kind of works....well if you squint!  The sentiment is from the Flourishes set, Dahlias.  The bird is a free online svg, cut using my Cameo.   Fiskars border punch and a couple of enamel brads in green and white to finish it off.   Small polka dot ribbon is from Gina K Designs.

Unconventional colors but I just LOVE them together!  Hope you do as well.

Oh and I am also thankful for all of the wonderful people I have 'met' through stamping.  Especially you wonderful ladies who support me and others with their Blogging efforts.  You're the BEST!!!

Loving that bird!  :)

Enjoy~~

  2. Now THAT'S a layered card!! I would NEVER use all those colors together and yet you get away with it easily. I wish I had your brain!!! LOL! This card is fabulous...love the bird, all those different patterns, and then the brads and ribbon. Yikes, I need to go into my craft room right now while I am inspired. Thanks for sharing, and thank YOU for being YOU!!!!!

  4. Everything Judy said and more. You're my kind of gal, thinking outside the box most of the time...I've been accused of thinking outside the box but not in the creative way you do. ;)

  7. This card is amazing! How did you put so many colors and textures into it and have it come out beautiful? Could it be your brand of coffee? If so, I need to change to yours. Lol What a joke, I just know it is your talent! Thanks for being a friend.
