Double D, Just Wing It

Good Morning!

Time for another fantastic Challenge at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Are you ready?!?!

Love this Tile!

Here's my Inspiration for you all!

I used the Stampin' Up! products; Detailed Dragonfly and Dragonfly Dreams.
Night Of Navy ink.  I also splattered my background with Silver Metallic Craft Paint.
My dragonfly was cut from Navy card stock and then Silver Glitter Paper, which I layered together.  This was then popped up with Fun Foam for dimension.  I had to cut very thin slices to make it work.

Cheery Lynn Lace Corner Deco H die cuts in opposite corners.
Sequins.

In flight!

Double D, When Skies Are Gray

Good Morning!

Time for another fantastic Challenge over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Are you ready for some inspiration?!?!

Then check this out!

So many ideas!

Here's what I came up with.

I loved all of the shades of gray, which is odd because I don't think I ever use much of it in card making.  I was drawn to the tea cups and coffee mugs.  Mine are from a Cameo Cut.  I cut once from a very thick card stock, something close to chipboard and then in 3 different Designer Papers.  2 with patterns and the 3rd I added some texture using a Swiss Dots Embossing Folder....but used the DE-bossed side.  I made sure one was topped with that sweet little open heart.  So CUTE!  They are all popped up on Foam Dots.

MFT Notched Border dies.
Spellbinders Label 4 die.
Memory Box Homespun Heart die.
Power Poppy Short Stacks stamp set.
Dove Gray ink.
Thin Silver Ribbon.
Rhinestone Flourish.
Sequins.
Foam Dots.

Golden Anniversary

Donna Phelan Back again on the Dies R Us Blog

I have been having a lot of FUN using this beautiful Tutti Designs Scrolly Heart die.
The detail is stunning and looks magnificent, especially cut from Gold Foiled Paper.

I die cut the Tutti Designs Scrolly Heart from Gold Foiled Paper, which I created by using my Mini Minc, Toner Paper, and some Heidi Swapp Gold Foil.  It really looks spectacular and lets the beauty of the die cut just shine....literally!  I placed the pretty heart on to a Fancy Ribbon Threader die cut by SpellbindersThe entire panel was backed with Gold Foil and Fun Foam to add dimension.  Threaded a Gold Ribbon through the bottom.

Next I die cut the fabulous flowers, Cheery Lynn Small Gardenia from Gold and Rose Gold Foiled Paper.  Added Metallic Brads to each center.
I also added some Golden Foliage, dies by Paper Smooches
This particular die, Foliage 2, is no longer available......BUT as always, there are soooo many other options in the Dies R Us Store, click HERE to check them all out.

Don't you just love all of that beautiful detail?!?!

Gold Heat Embossed 50th Sentiment on to a Spellbinders Standard Circles die.
Corner Rounder.

The Fun Foam and die cuts really add so much depth and dimension to this creation!

Only 20.5 more years and I'll be making one of these for my Husband.  lol

This card will also be entered into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes!

Here's what I used:
