Birthday Flowers

Good Morning!
Back again on the Tutti Designs Blog

Today I have a lovely Birthday card to share with you, complete with Birthday Flowers!

I used the fantastic Tutti Designs die, Birthday Flowers.  This pot of beautiful Tulips will make any birthday HAPPY!  Here I cut the die from White card stock and then colored it with Copic Markers.  I backed the lone tulip and pot with corresponding card stock.  But you know me, I didn't stop there!  I then covered the entire cut in Versa Mark ink and Clear Embossing Powder.  Heated it.  The sheen and texture of doing this technique is sooooo good!

If you haven't tried it before, you really should.  NO.....REALLY!!!

Layered it on to White card stock and then Black.  Stamped my Happy Birthday sentiment from Gina K Designs, Pleasant Plurals in Raven Black ink on to my Pink base and layered them all together.

Quick.  Easy. Clean.  Beautiful.

Pleasant Trees Of Life

Good Morning!

Back on the Dies R Us Inspiration Blog  with another Fall themed card.

I used several of the wonderful dies that are offered in the Dies R Us Store.

I sponged my card stock with Oxide Inks and then spritzed with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold.

Then I cut my Fall Leaves out of this beautiful paper!
You get so much design and texture with this die set.

Die cut my Tree Of Life out of White card stock.

Tree Of Life colored with Copic Markers.

Once I had all of my pieces die cut and colored I just created a simple Fall scene, complete with whimsical sentiment by Gina K Designs, Falling For You, stamped in Raven Black ink.

Here are the products I used:

Fabulous Friend

Good Morning!
Back again on the Tutti Designs Blog

I have a pretty little card to share with you today!

I used the fabulous Fluttering Butterfly Corner die for my card.  I die cut it from White card stock and then colored it with Copic Markers.  After that I covered the entire cut in Versa Mark ink and added Clear Embossing Powder, heat setting it all.  I love doing this to a colored die cut.  It makes for a lovely look.  Added a FAB sentiment from Gina K Designs, Poster Board Sentiments, stamped in Tempting Turquoise ink, and some matching Enamel Brads to complete my look.

The Tutti Dies make card making easy peasy!
Every die is so pretty and detailed, you don't need much more to create a card.

This Fluttering Butterfly Corner  die was in the  August 2016 Release along with many other fabulous dies.  You should definitely check them all out!

Double D, Fright Night

Good Morning!

A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.

Check out this Inspirational Tile!

Oooooh we're in for some spooky good fun!

Just wanted to SHAKE things up a bit!  I know my background paper looks like a cow print, but in fact they are bats!  lol  I used the Great Impressions stamp Spooky Tree and dies from PTI, Shakers And Sprinkles Kit.  Gina K Designs, Wicked set, for my sentiment.  All were Heat Embossed in Black Powder....why I don't really know as you can't tell under all of those sequins and glitter.  Just seemed like a good idea in the beginning.  :)

Cheery Lynn has this great set of corner dies, Lace Corner Deco H, to be exact, and it has this FAB Spider Web die in the set, which I cut from Black Glitter Paper.

This card will be entered into the Challenge at Simon Says Monday, A Walk On The Dark Side.

It's FUN to make Halloween cards and super FUN to make Shaker cards.....why don't you join in all of the FUN!?!?  (of course you don't have to make a Shaker card--to participate).

Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN!  You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!

Enjoy~~

Fall Sympathy Card

Hello again....back with another Sympathy card to share with you!  I do find that there is a quiet beauty about making Sympathy cards.  I wish we didn't need them ever.....but.....

This will be entered in to the Challenges at; Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes, Stamping Sensations, Autumn Glory and Penny Black, Close To Nature.

I die cut a corner out of my card base using the Memory Box Distress Windham Collage die.  This die set is pretty cool and has 4 different styles of dies to choose from.  Once that was done I grabbed some Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold and spritzed it all over.  My sentiment is by Power Poppy, Soothing Sympathy and is stamped in Walnut Stain ink.

Using White card stock I began sponging on Oxide inks in; Fired Brick, Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade.  Splattered with a bit of water and more of the Color Shine in Gold.  Once dried I die cut my leaves out using the Cheery Lynn Fall Leaves 8 set.  I love the array of shapes and all that texture.  This is a wonderful Fall time die set.  Then I just clustered a bunch of the leaves on my Ivory card panel and adhered to my Chocolate Brown base.  I also tucked one lone leaf on the inside, bottom left corner for accent.

Thanks so much for falling in.

Enjoy~~

Fall Sunflower

I am soooooo excited to say I have returned to the  Dies R Us Design Team!

This Design Team is chalked full of so many talented ladies, some of whom I know dearly and others I am looking forward to getting to know!

Now on with the show.......

I used this fabulous Cheery Lynn Sunflower Set.  Isn't it just glorious?  I die cut the Sunflower twice so I could offset and layer it to add some depth and dimension.  I also sponged the edges to do the same.  Small Flourish from the Gina K Designs stamp set, Sentimental Summer.

Look at all of that texture you get just by die cutting, such great embossed detail!

On my sentiment panel I stamped a small Sunflower and sentiment.  Both from Power Poppy stamp sets; In Praise Of Sunflowers and Olive And Oak.  Colored with Copic Markers, ink in Pear Pizzazz.  I also added these fantastic Cheery Lynn Wheat Heads.  They always work so well on Fall cards or bouquets of flowers.  Button, Twine and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Dandelion for accents.

Here you can see how the petals can be curled up for even more dimension, this was done by simply gluing down the center of each flower, nothing more.

Here are direct links to the products I used:
