Monster Jar

And here is my last piece of homework for today!  YAY!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, WCMD4--Stencil For A Background and Simon Says Monday, Powder Power.

I decided to make a 4 1/4 inch square Halloween card.  This uses the Gina K Designs stamp set, Wicked.  Using an SVG spider web cut I created my stenciled background in Wisteria Wonder ink.  Then I added the SVG cut to the background panel.  I heat embossed my little monster and stars in Black and Yellow Glitter Powders on to a jar die cut, edges sponged with Wisteria Wonder ink.  Added a bit of Baker's Twine to the top of the jar.

Boo is heat embossed in Blue (I thought I grabbed the Black again) on a Spellbinders Classic Oval die cut, edges sponged as well.  Then I added 2 little googly eyes to the O's.  hee hee  Jar and sentiment are popped up with 3 Dimensionals.

Hope your day is not scary......we're watching the Patriots and right now and it is scary........

Thanks for coming by.

Enjoy~~

Non Traditional Christmas Colors

Back again.....still completing my World Card Making Day Challenges.....this is #3 of 4.

I will enter this card in to the Challenges at Stamp TV, WCMD3--Non Traditional Christmas Colors and Simon Says Monday, Powder Power.

I used the Gina K Designs stamp set, Season's Greetings.  I used Kraft card stock as the base and Pink Glitter Embossing Powder.   CAS.

Added a few score lines to the bottom, which helped keep my sentiment straight when stamping.  Thin Pink Ribbon, Adhesive Rhinestone and some Pink Craft Paint splatters.  I will admit I was a bit overzealous with the splattering.  lol

One more piece of homework and then we can watch the game!

Thanks for coming by!

Enjoy~~

Happy Fall Y'All

Trust me when I say, that doesn't sound cute with a Boston accent lol

Another Fall card, this will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, WCMD2--Foiling, Memory Box, Sequins, Stamping Sensations, Autumn, Penny Black, Autumn and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets; Basket Additions, Autumn Beauty and Holiday Basket.  Images colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut out and adhered to a Spellbinders Labels 8 die cut.  Handles attached with gold brads.  Swiss Dots Embossing Folder for texture.  My pumpkin die cut accent is by Memory Box, Plump Pumpkins and was foiled using Gold and Green and popped up using 3 Dimensionals.  Sheer Ribbon and pale blue sequins as accents.  Sentiment stamped on a cropped Labels 8 die cut in Black Licorice ink.

I love this Picnic Basket full of Fall goodies......maybe Yogi Bear was right!

Thanks for coming by.....I've got 2 more World Card Making Day Challenges left.....hang in there with me!

Autumn Blessings

Good Morning!

I just have to say I LOVE October!  I think it's one of the best months of the year......and I am not even a Halloween fanatic lol

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, World Card Making Day 1--Carved Wood Technique, Simon Says Monday, Powder Power, Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes,Simon Says Work It Wednesday, Red, Orange, Yellow and/or Brown, Stamping Sensations, Autumn, Penny Black, Autumn and Cheery Lynn, Anything Goes!

You MUST watch this fabulous VIDEO from Gina all about the Wood Carving Technique!!!

Here's what I came up with!

I used the Gina K Designs stamp sets, Fanciful Fall and Heartfelt.  Images colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  Pumpkins adhered to a Spellbinders Decorative Labels 8 die cut, sponged with Wild Honey ink.  My Carved Wood background was created by scoring every 1/2" on a piece of White Pure Luxury card stock that measured 3 1/2 x 4 3/4 inches.  Then using Distress Inks in Weathered Wood and Wild Honey I swiped my inks on.  I love the orange and blue hues this left me with, so I used those colors in my card base and layering pieces.  I then ran my 'wood grain' panel through my Big Shot using a Sizzix Paisley Embossing Folder.  For the last step I took a Color Box Frost White ink pad and swiped it over my Paisley imprint......WOW!  That's when all the magic happens!!!

I added 3 leaf die cuts using the Cheery Lynn Fall Leaves 8, there are actually 8 different leaf dies in this set, they are so beautiful and have so much texture on each cut!  My sentiment was heated using Copper Embossing Powder, on a Vellum hand cut strip.  I also coated my pumpkins in Clear Embossing Powder to add a bit of shine (this was done before I knew I would be adding a Vellum sentiment strip over them).  Thin Jute Twine and Adhesive Rhinestones for accents.

The look and feel of this textured background is really AHmazing.....I have seen a few other projects and every one of them are gorgeous!  I think it's just one of those techniques that just creates beauty!

Thanks for falling in......

Oh and if you have noticed that my Blog List (perhaps with your Blog Link) has gone missing, you are correct.....I 'magically' got some back in place and will find the rest of you.  So if you noticed I haven't been commenting on your works of art, that is why.....I just check my list daily and head on over.  I hope to have this rectified soon.  Thanks for your patience!

Give Thanks

I'm thinking this could be considered a CAS card too.

This will be entered into the Challenges at Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes and Simon Says Work It Wednesday To Use Red, Orange, Yellow and/or Brown.  #powerpoppy

Do you ever just want to color?  I do!  This Power Poppy stamp set, Olive And Oak is just so FUN to color!  I still have a lot to learn, but man I really just enjoyed coloring this pretty image!  Copic Markers and Black Licorice ink.

A few strips of card stock and this card is complete!

I think I fell in love with this set because of the Olives.  We had just returned from Santorini Greece and everything was laced with Olives--in a good way!  They grew everywhere and anywhere.

YUM

And once again, Happy World Card Making Day.....I am heading back into the craft room to get inky!

Thanks for coming by!

Enjoy~~

Flower Filled Umbrella.....

.....although you can hardly see it.

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Scrapy Land, Happy Birthday, Cheery Lynn, Anything Goes and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I used several dies on this card; Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish and Cherry Blossoms, both have been snipped apart.  MFT DieNamics, Layered Umbrella and Cross Stitched Rectangles.  Spellbinders, Perfectly Pierce Classic Frames.    After assembling my (upside down) umbrella I filled it with the layered Cherry Blossoms.  I love the yellow and teal colors together, so pretty!

Sentiment stamped in Bermuda Bay ink is from the Power Poppy stamp set, Go Wild!  Sheer Teal Ribbon and Adhesive Rhinestones for accents.

Again, Happy World Card making Day.....hope you're getting inky!

Enjoy~~

CAS.....so not my thing.....

But I try......

This card will be entered into the Challenges at Stamp TV, Faux Torn Edge and Simon Says Wednesday, Anything Goes!

I created my Faux Torn Edge using Daffodil Delight ink, nice and bright and sunshiny!  Then I stamped my flower images from the Warm Spring Wishes stamp set by Gina K Designs in Black Licorice ink.  Sentiment from her Fanciful Fall stamp set.  So clean and simple.

So of course I had to add something more........

A few scored lines......a couple of Enamel Brads.......and some yellow craft paint splatters.

Well at least it will be easy to mail lol

Thanks for popping in.

Happy World Card Making Day.....more to come!

Enjoy~~
