I totally fell in love with this glorious Sunflower die by Cheery Lynn, isn't it fantastic??? I layered 2 different yellow card stocks together here, sponging the edges a bit to give off a bit more depth and dimension. Creating a frame from Spellbinders Labels 4, I then filled it using the Papertrey Ink Hexagon Cover Plate.....now that adds so much depth!
Fall Leaves from Cheery Lynn as well. Sentiment from Pleasant Plurals by Gina K Designs stamped in Black Licorice ink on to a Spellbinders Ribbon Banner die. A dusting of Pearl Ex on to the Fall Leaves, Swiss Dots Embossing Folder and Crystal Drops in Dandelion Yellow for accents.
Just glorious!!!
Thanks for coming by, love it when you do.......
And we're off................well almost!
Enjoy~~
That is one gorgeous sunflower! Very pretty dies on this card and great colors. Beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteOh, Donna, this sunflower is GLORIOUS! I've never met one that I've not loved! I actually had a lovely arrangement of them for my birthday and enjoyed them for just around a week. There were smaller ones and looked so dear in the vase I had. Wow, this is one amazing card, and I love the depth and beautiful color you've achieved. Truly stunning, my friend! I love visiting to see how you use your dies. I always get new ideas. Now to execute them - hehe! But I've cleared a couple of "things" from my plate and hope to get better at using my "stash." Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo
ReplyDeleteYour sunflower looks so real! A beautiful card as always, love the other dies you have used too!

ReplyDeleteHoly Smoke! LOL What an incredible card design - and YES! that sunflower die is now on my list! I love your cards - let's face it, I'm addicted LOL - but now, this one is really something, with all the amazing layers, textures, and color subtleties. Beautiful design, my beachy friend! We are actually getting some cooler temps being sent our way courtesy of the Hermine remnants in your neck of the woods. It is funny to see the outdoor thermometer read 75 at 8:30 on a September morning! We'll take it though! Hope your week is extra special. hugs, de
