I hope it is a nice crisp Fall day.....I am writing this July 1st, it's a bit murky and humid here! lol
A brand new Challenge is up and running over at the Double D Challenge Blog.
Check out this Inspirational Tile!
On to the show!
I started with this fabulous window die set from Poppy Stamps, Madison Window. It comes with the window, window box and flowers and foliage dies, a great deal for your money! Here I have just used the window and window box. I sponged the edges of the Kraft card stock a bit to add a bit more depth. I also popped the window box up a bit using foam squares. I created a little Harvest Wreath and filled my window box with some beautiful colored Fall leaves.
All of my leaves were created using a small paper punch, I think this particular one is the Michael's Brand, Recollections. The acorn image and sentiment are by PTI, Friendship Jar Fall Fillers stamp set. Stamped in Raven Black ink and colored with Copic Markers. A bit of Wink Of Stella Clear Glitter Pen on the acorn to add some sparkle!
Please come on over to the Double D Blog and join in all of the FUN! You'll be glad you did as there is always a pretty prize up for grabs!
And here's the prize for our LEAVE It To Me Challenge!
Enjoy~~

ReplyDeleteYou got the autumn feel on this one, even if you did it in July. Wonderful fall wreath and the idea of the window is super fun.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Donna! The background paper is perfect and your wreath colors accent it well. I always love seeing window scenes on cards. I don't use my window nearly enough.
ReplyDeleteWow, you're so far ahead. I would love that! You've made a beautiful fall card in July, so you really got your head around it. It's drizzling here. They predicted a beautiful October, but seems like a lot of rain to me. Thank you for my pretty birthday card! It brought some sunshine into my October!
ReplyDeleteLove your window wreath and box. I never would have thought to make a wreath from the flowers. Always, outside the box my friend,
