Found this card fold on Pinterest of course and knew I had to try it, so I combined a few Challenges; Stamp TV, Stitch It Up!, Mod Squad, Tic-Tac-Toe and the bonus Stamp TV, April Foolery, You Need Two Shape(s) Up!
Here's the Tic-Tac-Toe from the Mod Squad Blog:
Middle Row Down: Flowers, Die, Dimension.
I did A LOT of sewing on this card, 3 small square panels, large square base, and the outside rectangle. I used the Gina K Designs stamp set, Petals And Wings.
Spellbinders Classic and Scallop Circle dies, MFT Dotted Scallop die. Designer Papers from The Gathering Collection by Authentique.....I LOVE these papers!
Pumpkin Pie ink, Rhinestones and Ribbon added as accents.
The little Butterfly element is popped up on 3D dots, this allows the cover of the card to stay closed, the corner just tucks right underneath it.
Poppy flowers colored with Copic Markers.
This is really a fun type of fold, very unique. Here's the Tutorial And Video if you'd like to give it a try......you'll LOVE it!
Thanks for popping in, appreciate you doing so.
Enjoy~~
So pretty! Great designer papers; they go so well together. And all your stitching looks great! Love the fold technique - I may have to try this!
ReplyDeletePretty pretty card. Love all of the layered squares and the colors. So clever to used the butterfly to close the card. You added stitching, and I am so worried to add actual stitching to my cards.
