Wine A LIttle Bit

Good Morning!

This card will be entered into the Challenges at:  Papertrey Ink, Framing Sentiments and Images, Simon Says Monday, Grunge It UpSimon Says Wednesday, Make Your Own Background and Scrapy Land, Anything Goes!

I have always wanted one or two of those 'stain-like' stamps, you know for making coffee rings and wine stains?  Duh!  You can just make your own using a glass and ink....who knew?  lol

I used the Papertrey Ink Uncorked stamp and die sets.  To create my background I used a small juice glass and dipped the bottom onto my ink pad, coating it all over and then just stamped on to my White card stock.  I also used a piece of masking tape, smooshed that out on to my ink pad and then placed it on the White card stock, smoothing it out again and peeling back.  Bravo Burgundy ink.  I then spritzed Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold all over.
That's about as grungy as I can get. lol

I created my frame by using 2 different Spellbinders dies, Classic Ovals and Perfectly Pierced Frame, which is solid, so I used the Oval to cut out the center.  It left a very thin border for the frame.  I snipped some Foam Adhesives to pop the frame up and placed it around my fabulous sentiment!
I mean, that is fabulous, right?!?!  Wine bottle and glass die cuts, bottle accented with a Gold label made from glitter paper and a few 'randomly' tossed Gold Sequins.  Done!

This will make for any type of Celebration card....promotion, birthday,
anniversary.....you get the idea.

Thanks so much for popping in!

Enjoy~~

  11. This is so great! I use Uncorked to make wine bottle tags, but I think I've only made one card from it. Deserves a revival!
